The newest breed of UNIC Rumba - commercial espresso machines

If you have purchased a used UNIC espresso machine, obtain the manuals from the seller or order them from Services Unlimited, Inc. Identify the model correctly. Select the correct part number from the diagram and double check the number for its description stated in the parts list.

It is very important that UNIC machines are properly identified by their correct model and year of manufacturing. There are following categories based on the year of manufacture:

Category-1 = Models manufactured until 1996 .

Category-2 = Models introduced in 1996 and sold until 2005.

Latest Category-3 = Models introduced in 2004(Phoenix-R & Rumba)

The 2005 models Phoenix-R & Rumba have new external look. The internal design is still same.

There are following models in each category:

UNIC 1996 or earlier MODELS 

1-Diva - A traditional espresso machine for use of Coffee beans available in one two and three group sizes. Each group has an electronic fill box and a separate touch pad for espresso dose programming. 

2-Torino - This is originally a Diva espresso machine with a slight change in the  group head. Almost all parts are interchangeable with Diva parts. 

3- Phoenix - Phoenix model is a Diva espresso machine with group head  modified for exclusive use of Coffee pods. The modified group head ring will accommodate an exclusive pod holder. These models have vibrating pumps instead of traditional Vane rotary pumps.

Kits (part # ID116)  are available to convert coffee pod group head to an Italian coffee group head 

There are two different models within the old Phoenix line of machines.

A- Phoenix model with a dosing device. The touch pad in this model is part # DV03AX.

B- Phoenix model without a dosing device. The electronic box in Phoenix without dosing device is part # DV61AX   

4- Model XI- This model operates with halo sensor magnet installed in the filter holder. When the filter holder is locked in position, the magnet activates the solenoid valve and the pump to dispensed the programmed dose of espresso.

UNIC 1996 or later Models. 

In the year 1996, new models were introduced with improved electronic control boxes with the autofill control and touch pad, in a single box, as 'PRO' models. 

Important note: To order electronic control boxes, please use the table below to identify the part number correctly. The Electronic refill and control boxes are not returnable.
